Notable Amendment in REET Paper Pattern: Commerce Students can also Appear in the Exam

So guys, here is a good news(i.e Notable Amendment in REET) for the ones who are from Commerce background. And also desiring to attempt the REET examination! There is a huge change in the exam pattern. Along with the students from BA and BSc backgrounds, now the commerce background students can also appear in the REET examination. RSEB (Rajasthan School Education Board) implemented a number of changes which resulted in the change in the exam pattern. The major change is holding one exam instead of two. NCERT curriculum is also followed for the examination. The current weightage scenario of 70:30 is also changed.

The dates for the examination are still not out. As per the recent notification of the officials, 33,000 teachers will be hired in the Rajasthan State School Education Department. The individuals who crack REET become eligible for the post of the teachers.

When quoted the words of President Ram Nath Kovind, he said that teaching training curriculum across India will be entirely different by the year 2021. Also, a new curriculum will include the integrated education and the multidisciplinary training. Also, the president said, “The best minds need to be recruited as teachers”. Along with that, government need to ensure a respectable job and payment for the same.

The New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 also suggested many changes. These are for the TET exam (Teacher Education & Teacher Eligibility Test). NEP also said, the four year integrated B.Ed degree is the minimum degree for teaching by the year 2030.
