Big change in JEE: Next year the exam will be organized in other regional languages of the country, Joint Admission Board decided under NEP
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is for the students to get admission in engineering colleges. Now, it will conduct in more regional languages from the next year. Giving this information, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said, that from next year the JEE Main exam will be conducted in more regional languages. For this, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) has decided this under the new National Education Policy (NEP). Till now, the examination is conducted in English, Hindi and Gujarati languages only. But from now onwards, it will include many other languages.

The Union Education Minister has given this information through his Twitter account. He said that this decision of NTA will further add-on to the country’s new education policy. In states where regional languages are preferred for admission in engineering colleges, JEE examination will be conducted in regional languages.
The number of candidates will increase in JEE
This decision will help the students to score more in the JEE Mains Examination. The Education Minister said that the conduct of JEE examination in more regional languages will also increase the number of candidates. Students who could not get good scores due to language barrier, will be able to bring more good scores.
